For NOSTIMO, we crafted a brand identity that fuses Greek nostalgia with a lively, contemporary café feel. We were tasked with building a brand identity and logo for NOSTIMO, a Greek restaurant aiming to convey joyful moments, nostalgia, and authentic cultural roots. The biggest challenge was to visually blend the essence of Greek tradition and the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant in a way that stands out in a saturated dining market.

Solutions

Our logo solution centered on the use of simple geometric forms like circles, paired with columns reimagined as a fork and cherry—a direct nod to ancient Greek motifs and the restaurant’s culinary focus. We chose a bold yellow to evoke energy, delight, and appetite, paired with striking red for excitement and vibrancy. Each element was crafted to reflect both tradition and modernity, deploying lively colors that mirror the dynamic, familial environment of NOSTIMO while communicating the variety of the restaurant’s offerings: dine-in, take-away, café, and pasta bar.
